FCV International Football Academy Update

18 Jun

Whilst the coronavirus continues to affect most of us around the world and taking into account the latest advice from the UK Government, World Health Organisation (WHO) and Public Health England (PHE) there are signs of restrictions being lifted and we hope by the summer the FCV International Football Academy can re-open dependent on restrictions to international travel being lifted and full-sided football being allowed.

With this in mind the Academy can confirm term dates for the 2020/21 academic year. Presuming these can go ahead on the dates stated the Academy will be taking all necessary steps and following all Covid-19 protocols that will be required at the time. We can assure you that all of our properties will continue to be thoroughly cleansed.

Should there still be the need to enter quarantine for 14 days on arrival to the UK we will be able to offer any students the opportunity to do this at the Academy’s boarding facilities from August 31st – September 13th. We all hope by then this will have been lifted but if not it hopefully gives you peace of mind this will be in place.

Taking this into account the academic year will now commence, a week later than initially planned, on Monday, September 14th. Students will be able to arrive from 5pm on Sunday, September 13th......
